Medical weight & metabolic care

Your weight is data.
It is not your identity.

Individualized medical support for weight, metabolic health, body composition, and the factors that may be making change harder than it should be.

Schedule an evaluation

Beyond “eat less and move more”

Weight care should begin with medical context.

Your health history, medications, sleep, hormones, thyroid function, metabolic markers, reproductive goals, nutrition, movement, and previous attempts can all shape the plan.

The goal is not to force every person into the same medication or number on a scale. It is to identify an appropriate, sustainable path that supports health as well as progress.

What we look at

The whole pattern matters.

No single measurement tells the entire story. Your evaluation helps determine what needs attention and which options fit safely.

Your care may include

More than a prescription.

01

Medical evaluation

Review the factors affecting your health and establish an appropriate starting point.

02

Foundational strategy

Build realistic nutrition, movement, sleep, and behavior supports around your life and treatment plan.

03

Medication options

Discuss FDA-approved or other clinically appropriate medical options when indicated—including benefits, limitations, risks, and alternatives.

04

Monitoring & adjustment

Track response, symptoms, body composition, side effects, labs when indicated, and what should change next.

When symptoms overlap

Sometimes the scale is not the only question.

If cycle changes, perimenopause, thyroid concerns, fatigue, sleep, libido, or other symptoms are part of the picture, the Hormones & Midlife pathway—or Rooted Vitality™—may be a more complete place to begin.

A medically guided decision

Medication is a tool—not the entire plan.

No medication is appropriate for everyone, and results cannot be guaranteed. Treatment choices depend on medical history, clinical findings, contraindications, availability, goals, and ongoing monitoring.

When another clinician or level of care is more appropriate—including bariatric, endocrine, nutritional, behavioral-health, or specialty evaluation—we will discuss referral rather than force a program to fit.

Care without shame

Your body does not need to be criticized before it can be cared for.

You deserve honest medical guidance, informed choices, and a plan that respects both your health goals and your humanity.
